]]> New Delhi: LGN: Airtel के CEO शशि अरोड़ा ने Airtel से अस्तीफा दे दिया है। शशि अरोड़ा Airtel से साल 2006 में जुड़े थे। उन्होंने Airtel के DTH कारोबार को मजबूती दी थी और एयरटेल Payment Bank की शुरुआत भी शशि अरोड़ा ने ही की थी। लेकिन हाल ही में कुछ ऐसे खुलासे सामने आए कि Airtel ने अपने ग्राहकों से धोखा किया है। मामला यह है कि Airtel के ग्राहकों के Aadhar Number का दुरुपयोग कर ग्राहकों की अनुमति लिए बिना ही एयरटेल Payment Bank में खाता खोल दिया। Airtel ने Aadhar से जुड़ी सब्सिडी भी Payment Bank के Account में जमा करनी शुरु कर दी। Airtel ग्राहकों को इसकी कोई भी जानकारी नहीं थी।
खुलासे के बाद UIDAI ने Airtel को जमकर फटकार लगाई और KYC को तत्काल प्रभाव से बंद करने को कहा। जिसके चलते Airtel ने भी तत्काल प्रभाव से इसे बंद कर दिया।
